We are a friendly, welcoming team with a brilliantly supportive group of parents/carers. We train on a Tuesday evening from 6-7:15pm, at Kington Magna until after half term, when we train at Gillingham School on the all-weather pitch. Following a really successful season in Division 6 last year, we are now playing in Division 3 of the Dorset Youth League. We are supported by Dominic Downs, assistant coach.
Outside of football, my hobbies include breeding Cochin chickens and keeping koi carp. I enjoy gardening and put this to use both at home and when helping out tending the grounds at Kington Magna. My wife, Ellie, is GTYFC’s Welfare Officer and my son plays in the Under 12s team, so we are all part of the club community. Although my daughter, 13, doesn’t play, you may well see her cheering on the sidelines! I enjoy volunteering for GTYFC because I get to work with such a brilliant, dedicated group of boys and I’ve made good friends with other volunteers from the club.
